Guidepost Montessori at Museum Mile is an authentic Montessori school on the Upper East Side (12 E 79th Street, adjacent to Central Park) serving children from toddlerhood through elementary, with a distinctive Mandarin-English bilingual immersion track. Part of the national Guidepost Montessori / Higher Ground Education network, it runs a year-round, full-day program (operating 7:00 AM-6:00 PM) with all-inclusive tuition billed over 10 months and rolling admissions. A student-teacher ratio of about 6:1 supports mixed-age, self-directed learning, and older elementary students use Manhattan itself as a classroom. Financial assistance (0-50% tuition discount) is open to all families year-round with no income cut-off. A co-located Academy of Thought and Industry campus continues education through the secondary grades.
