What we do
The Foyer exists to make Manhattan's early childhood school search less overwhelming. We built a comprehensive database of 131 schools across the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Tribeca, and Midtown East — covering daycares, nursery schools, and K–12 programs — with admissions timelines, program details, and parent reviews all in one place.
Most parents navigating the NYC preschool process do it alone, piecing together information from dozens of school websites, Facebook groups, and word of mouth. The Foyer is our attempt to fix that.
Parent-first
We are not affiliated with any school. We never accept payment to influence search results, rankings, or recommendations.
Independent
The Foyer is independently built and maintained. Our only interest is helping families make better-informed decisions.
Always updating
We continuously verify and update school data. When something changes, we update it — not annually, but as it happens.
