St. Bernard's School is an independent, secular, all-boys K-9 day school on Manhattan's Upper East Side (Carnegie Hill), founded in 1904. It offers a rigorous classical liberal-arts education with strong traditions in the classics, literature, the arts, and athletics, enrolling roughly 380 boys with a low student-teacher ratio (about 5:1). Kindergarten is the only set entry point; admissions follow ISAAGNY practices with no application fee. 2026-27 tuition is $66,100 (including lunch, books, and supplies), and need-based financial aid reaches over 20% of students.
