All Souls School is a nonsectarian, Reggio Emilia-inspired early-childhood day school on the Upper East Side, founded in 1965 as a community project of the Unitarian Church of All Souls and now independent. It serves children from infancy through the preschool years across Parent-Infant classes, the NIDO toddler program, and a nursery school for 2s through Pre-K (Fours/Fives), with an inquiry-based Project Approach, an atelier, and a 5th-floor rooftop playground. NAEYC-accredited and an ISAAGNY member, it enrolls about 110 children with three teachers per classroom. Graduates move on to a broad range of leading NYC independent kindergartens as well as Hunter College Elementary.
