Housed within the storied 92nd Street Y on the Upper East Side, this nursery school blends play- and inquiry-based learning with a warm grounding in Jewish culture, organized around its '4 Rs' of respect, relationships, research, and resilience. Programs run from twos through pre-K, with enrichment that draws on the Y's wider arts and athletics resources, from gymnastics to the Dance Education Lab. Need-based scholarships are available through the 92NY scholarship office. As a nursery program, families apply onward for kindergarten.
