Eleanor Roosevelt High School is a small, highly selective public college-preparatory high school on the Upper East Side (District 2), founded in 2002 and serving roughly 540 students in grades 9-12. It offers a liberal-arts, discussion-based curriculum with 14+ Advanced Placement courses, college-level STEM research, and world languages in French and Spanish. Admission is through the NYC DOE screened high-school process (via MySchools), with priority for Manhattan residents.
