The Geneva School of Manhattan is the city's classical Christian day school, serving about 425 students from preschool (age 3) through Grade 12 on the Upper West Side. Founded in 1996, it follows the classical Trivium model - grammar, logic, and rhetoric - grounded in a biblical worldview, with French from the earliest years, Latin, Bible, chess, and a strong music program through the affiliated Geneva Conservatory. Small classes (average 16, 7:1 ratio) and rigorous, discussion-based instruction aim to develop critical thinkers and persuasive communicators. Need-based financial aid is offered from Junior Kindergarten up.

Culture & Community
Classical Christian education built on the Trivium: the Grammar stage (PreK-5) builds foundational knowledge through memorization, rhyme and song; the Logic stage (6-8) develops critical thinking and Socratic argument; the Rhetoric stage (9-12) trains clear, persuasive expression. Instruction is grounded in a biblical worldview, with French from Beginners, Latin, Bible, chess, and fine arts integrated across the curriculum.
