P.S. 333 Manhattan School for Children (MSC) is a progressive, unzoned District 3 NYC public school serving grades K-8 in the Joan of Arc complex on the Upper West Side. An International Baccalaureate World School candidate, it centers joyful, inquiry-driven, arts-rich learning, with a signature on-site greenhouse environmental-science program, a full-time studio art teacher, all-grades music, and a Broadway-style middle-school musical. Admission is free through NYC's MySchools (Kindergarten and a separate 6th-grade middle-school round), with priority to MSC siblings and then District 3 families. Graduates go on to a broad range of NYC public high schools, from specialized (Stuyvesant, Bronx Science) to selective screened and arts high schools.
