The Bank Street School for Children is the laboratory school of the renowned Bank Street College, delivering its hallmark progressive, developmental-interaction curriculum from the threes onward. Hands-on, experiential learning is paired with rich enrichment in STEAM, the arts, music, and athletics, plus after-school care until 6:00 PM. More than half of families receive financial aid, and the school provides active ex-missions support for those continuing on. It stands on the Upper West Side as one of the city's defining progressive institutions.
