Morningside Montessori School is an independent, not-for-profit Montessori preschool founded in 1966 on Manhattan's Upper West Side (top floor of the Ansche Chesed building at West 100th St & West End Ave). It serves children from 12 months through age 5 across Young Toddler, Toddler (2-3) and Early Childhood (3-5) programs, with flexible 2-, 3- and 5-day schedules and morning, full-day or afternoon options ending by 4:30 PM. The classrooms open onto a 3,000+ sq ft rooftop terrace playground, and enrichment includes Spanish and Mandarin, music, dance, yoga, art and cooking. A dedicated kindergarten-placement program supports families as graduates move on to public G&T/dual-language schools, Hunter Elementary and top independent schools.
