The Washington Market School's Duane Street campus is one of two Tribeca locations of a nonprofit independent preschool founded in 1976. Serving children ages 2 through 5, WMS blends Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies to nurture curiosity, confidence, and compassion. The light-filled Duane Street building features an open gym, an interactive lab room, an art studio, a music loft, and a library. Half-day and full-day programs run five days a week, with need-based tuition assistance and a strong record of placement into leading NYC ongoing schools.
