Kennedy International School (formerly Lyceum Kennedy French American School) is a coed bilingual independent school in Midtown East, two blocks from Grand Central and near the UN, serving Pre-K 3 through Grade 12. Its flagship French-English track teaches the New York State and French Ministry curricula side by side in a 50/50 immersion model, leading to a bilingual IB Diploma; a separate Japanese-English track serves preschool and Kindergarten. Founded in 1964, the school is small and internationally minded, with about a third of families speaking a third language at home. Admissions are rolling, and need-based financial aid is available.
