Garden House School of New York is a coeducational, nonsectarian preschool at 40 Sutton Place in Midtown East, founded in 1996 as the American branch of the renowned Garden House School in Chelsea, London. Serving children from Young 2s through Kindergarten, it blends play with structured academics and runs an Early Reading & Writing Program that readies children to read and write before Kindergarten. Small classes (each with a head teacher and assistant) offer half- and full-day options, with enrichment in art, ballet, introductory French and music. An ISAAGNY member, its 2026-2027 tuition ranges from about $14,100 (2-day Young 2s) to $45,900 (full-day Seniors/Kindergarten).
